Five lorries trapped in landslide
A road was closed and five lorries were trapped overnight after heavy flooding triggered a landslide.

The A272 north of Petersfield in Hampshire was closed for hours after mud and sand flowed across the road.

The lorries were stuck in the landslide since 0400 BST on Thursday. Diggers were brought in to clear the area.

It is thought that soil, recently removed from nearby fields, led to the flood water flowing directly on to the road rather than being absorbed.
