A man has spoken out about the deaths of his brother and sister, found dead at their home.
The bodies of John Lewis, 56, and 57-year-old Enid, were discovered at their home in Riggs Close in Grange-over-Sands on Friday.
Mr Lewis was found hanged and his wife, who suffered from multiple sclerosis, had died of strangulation.
Joseph Lewis said his brother was very upset at recently being diagnosed with cancer.
Estate agent
He said: "I only spoke to him a couple of days before they were found and he was worried that he would not be able to look after Enid.
"She was a very sick woman and he was her rock and this is why this has happened.
"We will all miss them terribly."
The bodies of the couple were discovered by an estate agent who was showing prospective customers around the couple's house, which was for sale.
A spokesman for Cumbria police said they were not looking for anybody else in connection with the deaths.
