Boy hurt in hit-and-run accident

A seven-year-old boy from Worcestershire has been injured after being hit by a car.

West Mercia Police say the male driver of a white Ford Escort did not stop after the incident in Marlpool Place, in Kidderminster, last Friday.

The child needed treatment for his injuries, which, the police say could have been very serious.

Anyone who may have witnessed the incident is asked to contact the police in Kidderminster.
