Suicide bid delays landlord case
Barry Stone and Stanley Rodgers at an earlier hearing
Stone (l) and Rodgers had admitted manslaughter
The sentencing of two men who admitted the manslaughter of two teenage friends has been delayed again while one of the men recovers from a suicide attempt.

Barry Stone, 38, admitted manslaughter after incorrectly fitting a gas fire at a flat in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk.

Michael Frosdick, 19, and Keith Reynolds, 17, died in the flat on Kitchener Road on 17 March last year.

Stone and landlord Stanley Rodgers had their sentencing delayed after Stone's attempted suicide on Friday.

They were both due to be sentenced, but only Rodgers, 61, of Market Place, Great Yarmouth, appeared at Norwich Crown Court.

The prosecution told the court that Stone, a handyman from St Nicholas Road in the town, had attempted suicide on Friday morning.

The court was told the attempt had been stopped and Stone was not badly hurt.
