Arrest over care home fire deaths
A 41-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of murder after two elderly women died in a care home fire.

The woman, from Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, is also suspected of arson with intent to endanger life.

Dorice Ede, 101, and Elinor Hellett, 74, died at after the fire the Bethany Home at Little Paxton, on 23 February.

Two women from St Neots, aged 25 and 26, arrested on suspicion of manslaughter and arson on Saturday have been released on bail until 28 April.

One of the elderly women died at the scene, the other died later in hospital.

Second fire

Firefighters were called to a second fire at the home over the weekend.

No-one was injured in the latest fire which began shortly after 1730 GMT on Saturday.

Two crews from St Neots and one from Huntingdon attended.

The blaze, in an unoccupied room, was out by the time crews arrived.
