Three days have been set aside to discuss development plans in Guernsey.
The Leale's Yard Mixed Use Redevelopment Area will come under the planning spotlight in a public hearing at Les Cotils.
The plans for the site, which is behind The Bridge, have been billed as one of the largest projects for the north of the island in recent years.
Members of the public are welcome to attend the three-day hearing, which starts on Tuesday at 1000 BST.
The Island Development Committee (IDC) wants to see a mix of housing, recreation and retail in the area, and what it describes as "the optimum beneficial use of land".
The Channel Islands Co-op has ambitions to build a large and up-to-date retail outlet on the site.
A number of submissions have already been made to the planning enquiry.
Traders around The Bridge said they had concerns about projects in the area and the effect they would have on local parking and their businesses.
