Villagers to meet over phone mast
More than 200 people have signed a petition objecting to a proposed mobile phone mast in Durrington.

Transmitter firm Crown Castle wants to build the mast for phone company '3' near to homes on Stonehenge Road - next to the village's telephone exchange.

Because of the residents' concerns Salisbury District Council will hold a meeting in the village on Thursday evening to hear views.

Crown Castle does not need planning permission for the 15ft mast.
