Two people trapped on fair ride

Two people have been hurt in an accident on a ride at a fairground in Lincolnshire.

They were injured on the Super Spin Express in the Market Place in Grantham on Sunday night.

At one stage the 18-year-old woman was trapped by her foot, while, a man, 19, was held in the ride by his knees.

They were taken to Grantham hospital for treatment but their injuries are described as minor. The Health and Safety Executive are investigating.

The owner has closed the ride down following the accident.
