Vandals damage 13 cars at garage

Several cars have been damaged in an attack by vandals at a garage and sales centre in Northampton.

On Monday, police said the windscreens of all 13 vehicles at Horsley Car Sales in Kingsthorpe had been smashed between Thursday night and Friday morning.

Some cars also had damage to other windows and to the body panels, which police said had been caused by the vandals wielding bricks or concrete.

Police are appealing to witnesses who might have seen anything suspicious.

The total damage to the cars is estimated to be more than £10,000.
