Club murder 'linked to shootings'
Police officers
Police are investigating Mr Kerr's death
Police investigating the murder of a man at a Glasgow social club believe the incident may be linked to two other shootings, it is understood.

Stephen Kerr, 46, was shot during a disturbance in Benburb Social Club in Drumoyne, on Saturday.

He was taken to the Southern General Hospital but died from his injuries.

Police sources said the death may be connected to the murder of a man in Govan and the wounding of another man at the city's Parkway Bar.

Strathclyde Police said the incident at the social club, which happened at about 2330 GMT on Saturday, involved more than one man.

Det Insp Marie McConnell said: "So far we have established that there was a disturbance involving a number of men within the social club.

"I would like to hear from anyone who was either in the social club or the area at the time of the incident or from anyone who has information that will help us with our inquiries."
