Scene on River Severn where body was found
The body was found in the river by elver fishermen
An open verdict has been recorded on the death of a man whose body was discovered in the River Severn with its hands and feet bound.

The body of David Hall, 20, was found in the river near the Anchor Inn, Epney, Gloucestershire, on 10 April.

After an investigation, Gloucestershire police said the death was not being treated as suspicious.

On Wednesday, Gloucester coroner Alan Crickmore said no-one could know for sure what happened to Mr Hall.

His body was first spotted in the river at Ashleworth just before 0200 BST on 9 April.

It disappeared and was found the following day by elver fishermen near the Anchor Inn.

Mr Hall, whose address was given as the YMCA in Worcester, was identified through dental records.
