A BT engineer was hurt when he was left clinging on to his van as it sped down the road as someone tried to steal it in Doncaster.
The 40-year-old victim from Swinton was working at the roadside next to his van in Mexborough on Tuesday when he heard his engine start up.
He started to climb inside when it set off, trapping his feet and legs.
The would-be-thief ran off down Doncaster Road when the van smashed into a Land Rover and stopped.
