Tour delivers Japan peace message
A group of youngsters from Hiroshima in Japan visited Bristol on Thursday as part of a European peace tour.

The delegation, led by Toshihiko Hayashi, President of the International Youth Association, met with children from the city.

During the visit, the group invited the Lord Mayor of Bristol to attend the Worldwide Peace Conference, which will take place in Hiroshima in 2005.

The meeting was held to commemorate 60 years since atomic bombs were dropped.

The visit also aimed to educate Bristol children about the horrors of the war.
