Police probe child 'fluid' death
A 16-month-old baby boy has died after apparently falling into a container of water and cleaning fluid.

Suffolk Police said they were alerted to the sudden death by staff at Ipswich Hospital on Wednesday.

The child, who has not been named, was flown to the hospital from a property in Knodishall, Suffolk, on Friday but could not be saved.

Officers said a post-mortem examination was carried out but further tests were needed to establish the cause of death.
