Yacht crew rescue from near rocks
Two men have been rescued by Jersey's St Helier lifeboat after spending the night on a yacht anchored dangerously close to rocks.

The engine on board the 30ft (10m) long French boat failed on Tuesday night and, after drifting towards the rocks, they dropped anchor.

An onlooker reported a boat was adrift south of La Rocco Tower in St Ouen's Bay, in force six winds.

Lifeboat coxswain Andy Hibbs said they were lucky not to have struck rocks.

The men were rescued from the yacht, which was towed to St Helier.

They men were not aware of the dangerous position of their vessel, which had no charts or radio on board.
