Tagger rewards get good response
Nottingham City Council says there has been a good response to its campaign to clamp down on graffiti artists across the city.

Taggers - who spray paint designs onto walls and buildings - have been targeted in the "Name That Tag" campaign by the authority.

A £500 reward has been on offer since the campaign was launched on 18 March.

Crimestoppers says that they have had numerous calls about taggers, which are now being followed up by the police.

The reward is paid for information if it leads to a conviction.

One call concerned a tagger who was not among the most frequent offenders.

Another tip-off divulged a tagger's address and his preferred colours of spray paint.
