Tribute for dead football fan
Leicester City's Walkers Stadium
The fan was on his way to Leicester City's Walkers Stadium
A one minute silence was held at Saturday's Leicester City match, to remember the Everton fan who died on his way to the Walkers Stadium.

Bernard Murphy, from Liverpool, was killed last Saturday after being hit by flying debris in high winds.

He was fatally injured about half a mile from the stadium on Upperton Road.

Since his death, City fans have been publicly thanked for their kind words and messages, which have been sent to Mr Murphy's family.

The silence will take on added significance, as Leicester City's opponents are Liverpool - so often rivals to Everton - now united in their grief for a fellow fan from Merseyside.

Police in Leicester have issued an appeal for a woman who was struck by debris at the same time as Mr Murphy, to come forward.
