Detectives investigating an unsolved 1960s murder case have vowed to continue their search after releasing a 76-year-old man from police bail.
The pensioner was arrested at his south Essex home in June in connection with the murder of schoolgirl Kim Roberts.
She disappeared from her London home on 1 March 1964 and was found three days later in Watts Wood, Purfleet, Essex.
The seven-year-old had been sexually assaulted and a postmortem examination showed she had been strangled.
Essex Police are currently appealing for information about 10 unsolved murders in the county.
