A man has been treated for chemical burns after finding a barrel of acid washed up on the Lincolnshire coast.
The shore at Vicker's Point at Ingoldmells was cordoned off while firefighters used a large drum to contain the barrel of phosphoric acid.
Paramedics were called to the scene on Wednesday morning, and treated the injured man, who was taken to hospital.
Ken Baker from Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue said the barrel had been removed and there is no risk to public health.
"We immediately had to cordon off an area to keep members of the public out of the way and keep everybody safe.
It is not yet known where the barrel of acid came from, or how it came to be washed up on the beach.
