A teenager on a day-trip to the seaside was badly beaten with a knuckle duster in a racist attack, police say.
The 17-year-old from Huddersfield was attacked in Cleveleys, Lancashire, at 1800 BST on Saturday.
The Afro-Caribbean teenager was in a minibus when, for no reason, four men and two women verbally abused him.
Two white men, in their late teens or early 20s, then climbed in the bus and beat him. Police say the assault was "unprovoked and racially motivated".
The victim needed hospital treatment.
The attack happened close to the children's funfair in Cleveleys, which was busy at the time.
Police have appealed for anyone who witnessed the attack to get in touch.
