Top pilots from all over the world are testing their skills in a combat training competition.
On Wednesday air crews flew in from Germany and Italy to take part in the two-day Excalibur contest at RAF Lakenheath in Suffolk.
Those taking part included the Liberty Wing F-15E Strike Eagles and the F-16s from Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany.
The exercise also included aircraft from the Aviano Air Base, Italy and Royal Air Force Jaguars and Tornados.
It has been organised to promote relations between US Air Forces in Europe and RAF aircrews as well as focus on attack missions.
The pilots are being tested on weapons accuracy and flying ability and awards were being presented for the top-scoring pilot and the best flight.
