Indecent assault on woman in town

Police in Jersey are investigating an indecent assault on a woman in St Helier.

The attack happened just after midnight on Tuesday in the New Street end of Devonshire Place.

The attacker is described as olive-skinned, aged in his mid-20s, 5ft 9in-tall, slim, with a thin face and brown/blond short hair, spiked on top.

Officers are looking into reports that the attacker stayed in the area for about 10 minutes after the incident.
