RAF helicopter
RAF crews were scrambled from Wattisham Airfield
A man has been airlifted to hospital overnight from a standby rig vessel off the East Anglian coast.

The 27-year-old man was rescued from an area about 20 miles north east of Cromer, Norfolk.

A spokesman for the Coastguard said the man was complaining of stomach pains and was linked by radio to a doctor in Aberdeen.

An RAF helicopter was sent from Wattisham Airfield and the man was taken to the James Paget Hospital.
