Attempt to tackle student crime
Universities across the Thames Valley are to meet experts to discuss ways of tackling crime against students.

Students from universities in Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire will be given tips on how they can avoid being victims of crime.

Fourteen exhibitors, including police, and private companies will display products to help students protect themselves and their accommodation.

Buckinghamshire Chilterns University College hosts the event on 30 March.

A Thames Valley Police spokesman said: "The exhibition is a unique way of bringing together student guests drawn from universities across Thames Valley.

"It aims to provide them with information, security ideas and equipment to take back to their own institutions."
