Man robbed at gunpoint
A man has been threatened at gun point during a robbery in west Belfast.

The incident happened on the Andersonstown Road at about 0900 GMT on Saturday.

The man was confronted by a man armed with a handgun as he picked up a lodgement from a shop.

He was forced to hand over a cash box by the man who pointed the weapon at his leg before making off along St Agnes Drive.

The police want to speak to anyone who witnessed the robbery.

Detectives would also like to the driver and occupants of a silver hatchback car that was seen driving away around the time of the attack.

In a separate incident, police are investigating a robbery at a betting shop on the Falls Road.

It is understood a man entered the premises just before 1030 GMT on Saturday and demanded money.

He made off with a sum of cash.
