The North West Air Ambulance airlifted the boy to hospital
A teenager has been airlifted to hospital after falling 25ft onto rocks from a cliff in Lancashire.

The boy suffered head and leg injuries in the fall from the cliff behind St Peter's Church, in Heysham, at 1500 BST on Tuesday.

The ambulance service said the 14-year-old was with a group of friends when the accident happened.

The air ambulance airlifted him to the Royal Lancaster Infirmary. His condition is not thought to be serious.
