Man is charged over fiesta death

An 18-year-old charged with the murder of a man at the Bristol Balloon Festival has been remanded in custody.

Colin Treharne, 21, of Lawrence Weston, Bristol died in hospital on Sunday after being attacked on Saturday evening near the Fiesta's fairground.

John Skinner appeared before Weston-super-Mare magistrates on Tuesday charged with murder.

Mr Skinner, of Inn's Court, Bristol was remanded to appear at Bristol Crown Court on 25 August.
