Blow for travellers' home hopes
A parish council in Suffolk is asking county planners to reject a scheme for a travellers' site at Elmswell.

Land close to the A14 has been bought by 18 families who want to live on the site permanently.

A meeting on Monday night decided the idea was contrary to plans for village development and did not have enough detail about sewage and waste disposal.

Many people who live in the village have opposed the travelling families' application for a permanent site.
