Fans charged over soccer violence

Eleven people have been charged with affray following violence that flared before a West Bromwich Albion match.

The men, aged between 17 and 35 and from Sandwell, West Bromwich, Walsall and Kidderminster, were arrested in dawn raids on Saturday.

Police said the charges related to disorder between home fans and Cardiff City supporters in Birmingham Road, West Bromwich, on 14 February.

The men are due to appear in court on Monday.
