Boy hit by car left badly injured

The boy was taken to Frimley Park Hospital to be treated
A teenager is in a serious condition in hospital after he was hit by a car in Surrey.

Police said the 13-year-old was hit by the car on the A235 Portsmouth Road in Frimley.

No-one else was hurt but the boy was taken to Frimley Park Hospital where he was treated for serious injuries.

Surrey Police are appealing for witnesses to the accident, which happened at about 1745 GMT on Friday, to come forward.

The car was travelling south from the Ravenswood roundabout towards Frimley when the accident happened.
