Truck driver gets wheely stuck
A lorry driver was freed from his vehicle after he got his foot trapped under a wheel.

The driver had pulled his articulated truck off the A385 near Totnes because of brake problems.

He parked in the police station car park, but as he inspected the problem the truck rolled forward, trapping his feet under a rear wheel until a coach driver reversed the truck.

Police said the driver's feet were saved by his steel-capped boots.

A spokesman said: "He had a lucky escape. If he had not been wearing steel-capped boots he would have been crushed."

He had been trapped for five minutes until passers-by heard his calls for help and stopped the truck from rolling any further forward.
