Man admits Euro 2004 pub assault
A 37-year-old man has appeared before Birmingham Magistrates accused of affray and assault after an incident in a pub during Euro 2004.

The case against Mark Forrester was adjourned until next month.

He was arrested following an incident at the Towers pub on Walsall Road in Great Barr after England's opening match against France on 13 June.

The prosecution has asked for the affray charge to be dropped. Forrester, from Walsall Wood, admits assault.
