Rock band Franz Ferdinand have had to re-release their new single because the original had too many tracks on it, making it ineligible for chart entry.
The inclusion of three tracks on two versions of the Michael single meant the Mercury-nominated band would not be allowed to chart this weekend.
The second CD single will now be re-packaged and released without third track, Tell Her Tonight (Paul Sings).
The song can be downloaded from the Franz Ferdinand website.
Actress Diane Lane ties the knot
Diane Lane, Oscar-nominated star of the 2002 film Unfaithful, has married actor Josh Brolin.
A spokeswoman for the couple confirmed they had wed, but refused to reveal the date or location of the ceremony.
Lane, 39, who also starred in Under the Tuscan Sun, became engaged to Brolin, 36, when he proposed in July 2002.
Brolin, who starred in the short-lived US television series Mister Sterling, is the son of actor James Brolin and stepson of Barbra Streisand.
The Cure receive MTV icon honour
MTV have named goth rock band The Cure their Icon of 2004 and will celebrate with a live tribute on 17 September.
The group will perform at the event at London's Billingsgate market and the show will be broadcast in October.
Artists who have been influenced by The Cure will also take part although names are yet to be confirmed.
The band, who have been together for 25 years, have had a string of hits over the last two decades or so, including The Lovecats and Close To Me.
Monkey voiceover actor dies at 72
The actor who was the voice behind animal spirit Pigsy in cult Japanese children's TV show Monkey has died.
Peter Woodthorpe died on Thursday, less than a month after finishing recording the voice of Pigsy for 13 Monkey episodes not yet broadcast in the UK.
The 72-year-old also did the voice of Gollum in the 1978 animated film of Tolkien's book, The Lord of the Rings.
Monkey told the surreal story of the boy priest Tripitaka's quest to retrieve ancient Buddhist texts.
Wonder Woman gets new hero role
Former Wonder Woman star Lynda Carter has joined the cast of forthcoming US comedy drama Sky High.
Carter will play the headteacher of a special high school for superhero teenagers in the show which is due to start filming on Tuesday.
Kurt Russell and Kelly Preston will play the parents of one of the pupils attending the school.
Carter played Wonder Woman between 1975 and 1979. Sky High is due to air in the US sometime next year.
Muse guitarist doubtful for V2004
Rock band Muse guitarist Chris Wolstenholme may have to pull out of the V2004 festival in this weekend due to a hand injury.
The bass player hurt his hand in a fall at the end of last week while on a tour of the US.
The band are now awaiting test results and looking at other alternatives should Wolstenholme be unable to play.
"We will of course keep you informed on this matter as soon as we have news," the band said on their website.
Home win for Dawson's Creek star
Former Dawson's Creek star James Van Der Beek has won his legal case against an estate agent who "misrepresented" the condition of a home he purchased.
A jury ruled in favour of the actor over repair bills for the house in Wilmington, North Carolina.
He was awarded $123,000 (£66,755), after the jury found agent Gwen Page had committed fraud in the sale of $826,000 (£448,290) house.
Van Der Beek bought the waterfront house in 2000 and has since sold it.
