Appeal over two rare stolen cats
Wild cats Harvey (l) and Anna
Their owner has offered a £500 reward for their return
Two rare cats have been stolen from their enclosure in the garden of a Greater Manchester house.

The American Maine Coon cats, which are 4ft (1.2m) long and 1.5ft (0.45m) high, were taken from a house on Chatsworth Road in Salford on Monday.

Police say Harvey is mainly ginger in colour and has a head mane that reaches the floor. Anna is slightly darker and is smaller at about 3.5ft (1m) long.

Their owner is offering a £500 reward for their safe return.

A police spokesman said: "The owner of these rare animals is extremely worried about them and just wants them home safe.

"We would also like to issue a warning to whoever stole the cats, that although they are generally quite timid, they have the potential to be dangerous.

"I would urge whoever took Harvey and Anna or anyone who has any information about who took them to call police," he added.
