Dog finds dealer's drugs drop-off
Crack Cocaine
The drugs may have been hidden for a later pick-up
A haul of drugs with an estimated street value of £3,700 was discovered in a hedge by a dogwalker.

The woman, who has not been named, was walking her dog in Bournemouth, Dorset, when her pet found the supermarket bag full of crack-cocaine wraps.

Police say the hedge in Harewood Avenue could have been being used as a dealer's pick-up point.

They have praised the woman for contacting them after the find shortly after 1500 BST on Friday.

Nick Cloke, spokesman for Dorset Police, told BBC News Online: "It's hard to speculate why it was there but perhaps someone was expecting to pick it up later or perhaps someone dealing on the street was using it.

"This was an unexpected seizure and we are obviously grateful to the dogwalker.

"I would hope that other members of the public would be as vigilant in reporting anything suspicious."
