A 34-year-old woman has been charged with murder in connection with the death of a toddler on Teesside.
Two-year-old Kyle Fisher, from Hartlepool, died in Newcastle General Hospital last month, two days after being found with head injuries.
Cleveland Police said the woman, who is from Hartlepool, was arrested in Leeds and taken back to Hartlepool by police for questioning.
She will appear before Hartlepool Magistrates' Court on Wednesday.
