An agreement has been reached between lecturers and Leicester College, ending the threat of more strike action.
Members of the union NAFTHE walked out on strike from Leicester College in February in a dispute over a new contract and working conditions.
Some lessons had to be cancelled and students raised concerns that their education was being affected.
Lecturers have now voted to return to normal working, following agreement on a new contract.
The strike action was called off four weeks ago and college representatives and union have been holding negotiations ever since.
Principal Maggie Galliers said she was delighted the talks have ended productively for all concerned.
