Rates payers from the Jersey parish of St Mary are being asked to consider the costs of modernising their parish hall.
The project has been priced at about £22,000. The Constable of the parish, Ken Le Brun, wants to update the ground floor of the Victorian building.
He plans to install central heating, plus a lift and disabled toilets.
Parishioners have already agreed for the work to go ahead in principle, but actual finances will be discussed on Tuesday night at a Parish Assembly.
Four new offices might also be added at the back as part of the plans.
It is hoped work will start around October to be finished by spring next year.
