Three people have been jailed over the death of 21-year-old Lucy Royle.
Joseph Coburn, 22, of Lewis Avenue, Davyhulme, was jailed for life after admitting murdering his former lover.
His twin Gary Joyson was jailed for six years. He admitted conspiring to commit actual bodily harm, false imprisonment and perverting the course of justice.
Joyson's lover, Louise Calvert, 21, of Kingsway Park, Davyhulme, also admitted the same charges and was jailed for a total of four years.
She and Joyson were cleared earlier this month of Lucy's murder.
Miss Royle, from Jura Drive, Davyhulme, Greater Manchester, died after suffering massive head injuries.
She had also been stabbed 18 times in the back.

Her body, which was found by a man walking his dog near the Trafford Centre in April 2003 was described by detectives as one of the most severely injured they had ever seen.
The prosecution had claimed Calvert and Joyson were at the scene when Coburn murdered Miss Royle.
But they were cleared of her murder by a jury at Manchester Crown Court after earlier admitting perverting the course of justice.
Miss Royle had been last seen at her home in Davyhulme where she took a phone call before, a short time later, going out.
She met Coburn and Joyson - who had been brought up by adoptive parents with one of the twins taking their surname - and Calvert at a spot known locally as Lover's Lane, near Old Barton Road.
She was repeatedly hit about the head with a concrete block before being stabbed 18 times in the back with a kitchen knife.
The judge recommended Coburn serve at least 14 years in jail.
