Police make plans for derby match
Plans are being made to prevent disorder when Scunthorpe United play Lincoln City at Glanford Park on Saturday.

Police say there has been trouble between supporters when the two teams have played each other in the past.

For Lincoln fans this is an all-ticket game and those without tickets are being urged to stay at home.

There will be a large police presence in Scunthorpe and many pubs will be closed.

Insp Andy Watson of Humberside Police said: "This is the first high profile clash of the season for Scunthorpe United but it is obviously not the first time the two clubs have met.

"In past matches we have witnessed tensions between the two sets of supporters.

"Therefore we will be policing the event accordingly."
