Dog saved after road bridge fall
RSPCA officers in West Yorkshire are hunting people threw a dog from a road bridge.

The 18-month-old German Shepherd bitch survived but had to have a toe amputated.

A worker at the Timothy Taylor brewery narrowly missed hitting the animal as he drove under the bridge in Keighley.

The officers said other injuries indicated that the Alsatian's legs and feet had been tied up for some time before it was thrown.

She is now being cared for by vets in Halifax.
