Work on a £28m bypass to relieve congestion on a stretch of one of Cambridgeshire's busiest roads is due to start next month.
The bypass on the A47 in Thorney, near Peterborough, will provide three miles of new dual carriageway and three roundabouts.
Transport Minister, David Jamieson, said: "The new bypass will improve safety... and reduce journey times.
"It will also improve the environment for villagers.
