Police investigating the death of a teenager who was hit by a car have issued a CCTV image of a vital witness.

Greater Manchester Police say the man could give "valuable assistance" as they investigate the death of Carla Bate in Farnworth on 8 August.

The man was caught on camera as he stood in the Texaco petrol station in Albert Road, Farnworth, at 2200 BST.

He is not believed to be involved in the incident but officers say he may he able to help with the investigation.
