A 46-year-old man has appeared in court charged with attempted murder.
Unemployed David Michael King from Liscorran Court, Lurgan, was charged after a man was stabbed in the town on Sunday.
The man was taken to Craigavon hospital, but was later transferred to a Belfast hospital.
He is said to be seriously ill but stable.
Lisburn Magistrate's Court was told on Tuesday, that when charged, Mr King replied: "I'm really sorry, I hope he gets better".
He was remanded in custody to appear in court again on 9 September.
