Cardiff Bus are holding their own inquiry into the attack

Police have charged a youth with two counts of affray after a Cardiff bus driver was knocked unconscious.
Police have bailed the 17-year-old youth to appear before magistrates in Cardiff on Wednesday.
The incident involving three youths took place in Grand Avenue, Ely, last Wednesday after the driver complained about the misbehaviour of teenagers on his bus.
The conditions of the youth's bail state that he is not allowed to get on any bus in the city or hang around bus stops.
The driver, 52, was allowed home after treatment at the University Hospital of Wales following the incident last Wednesday evening.
A spokesman for operators Cardiff Bus said: "We are working closely with the police to investigate this incident and we will also be conducting our own internal investigation into the circumstances."
Figures out last summer from the assembly showed assaults on bus drivers in Wales have trebled over a five year period, with 90 estimated attacks.
Nearly half of these were carried out by youngsters under 15 and during daylight hours.
The assembly government has set up a working group with Crime Concern to look at bus safety issues.
