Arrest made in road death inquiry
A man is being questioned on suspicion of murder in connection with the death of a man found injured in a Kent road.

Kent Police said the 21-year-old Sittingbourne man was arrested in the town on Thursday evening.

The 34-year-old man who died has been named as Francis Alan Anthony Foord, of Cherry Close, Sittingbourne.

He was found in Eastwood Road on Friday at 2335 GMT and later died in hospital - police launched a murder inquiry after his death.

A 20-year-old man was released without charge on Tuesday after being arrested on suspicion of murder on Sunday.

At the time of Mr Foord's death, police appealed for a group of men and women seen in Eastwood Road on Friday night to come forward.
