Arrests in crossbow murder case
Several people are being questioned by police in Kent in connection with the death of a man killed by a crossbow bolt.

Wayne Philips, who was 30, died in hospital from a single wound to the chest after a dispute in Dartford.

Mr Philips, of St Edmund Road, Dartford, died in Darent Valley Hospital after the incident in the Temple Hill area early on Friday.

Police launched a murder inquiry after the 30-year-old's death and later said "numerous" people were in custody.

They would not reveal the exact number.

They said Mr Philips died after the suspected dispute in Patterson Court, Dartford, in the early hours of Friday.

Officers from Kent are working alongside police from the Metropolitan force on the investigation.
