Man 'groomed' children of family
A paedophile from Nottinghamshire has been jailed for life for offences against young children.

Nottingham Crown Court heard Lesley Booker, 55, had befriended his victims' grandfather while in prison for an earlier sexual offence.

He then groomed the children while staying with the man.

Judge Joan Butler said Booker, of Netherton Road in Worksop - who pleaded guilty to rape and indecent assault - would remain a danger to children.

The judge said Booker had helped with gardening and babysitting and systematically groomed a girl and two boys aged between four and 10 for his own sexual ends.

She ordered he should serve at least 10 years before being eligible for parole.
