Britain's first school dedicated solely to Punjabi music and dance is opening in the Black Country.
The Punjabi Academy of Music and Dance has been set up in West Bromwich, on the town's High Street.
The centre will teach Bhangra up to GCSE level and aims to promote art and culture.
Gucharan Mall, a teacher at the centre, said its creation is a feather in the cap for the West Midlands and they are pleased to be based here.
He said: "It is a big boost for the Midlands with everything happening in London.
"We will be promoting art and culture and at the same time, not forgetting to do good things."
