Work begins on £7m hi-tech centre

Work is to begin on a £7m innovation centre in Shropshire which will create 80 jobs and help attract hi-tech companies to the area.

The pioneering centre will be built on the University of Wolverhampton's Priorslee campus, in Telford.

It is expected that the building work will be completed in 12 months and staff will move in at the end of 2005.

The centre will provide start up premises, research services, and conference facilities.
